Great location. 1 bed apartment was clean, rubbish collected daily, and staff mostly helpful.
Street level door was unlockable, so security was not as good as it should be. Could do with some decent knives in the apartment kitchen, and better glasses etc. On check in, I had to pay for the entire stay up front. The booking conditions stated I had to pay 'during the stay'. I had arranged for my employer to call during the stay to pay for the accomodation on their card, but of course that went out the window. On check-in the staff member told me my employer could call and pay for the accomodation on their car, and they would refund my card. Later in the week when I told this to another member of staff, they said this was not possible due to the Mastercard commission etc.
The location was excellent. The internet was reliable. And the bathroom was clean and recently remodeled.
Don't stay at this location. Awful. Not worth the money. Don't believe the other reviews if they say nice things. Not a good value for your money. "Kitchen" actually meant loud refrigerator and small microwave. A cruise ship cabin would've been bigger. A prison cell would've had more light. The building front door didn't shut. And the room's safe didn't work. A bad combination. And the staff was clueless about why I wanted a sheet over the mattress and a sheet under the comforter. They expected me to sleep with a dirty comforter on top of me. Not good!
Very clean room
The front door doesn't close at all. This is a security failure as anyone can enter the hotel. / La porte d'entrée avec digicode ne fermait pas donc n'importe qui peut aller et venir dans l'hotel. The sprung mattress of the bed was quite a bad quality. Le matelas n'est pas de bonne qualité, la qualité du sommeil s'en ressent.
Nice enough. I had a studio suite which was self contained, clean and perfectly comfortable. Internet worked fine, the room was quiet and the location was excellent. Didn't have the breakfast and probably no need as lots of coffee shops/ cafes etc in the immediate area.
the location is perfect, the room was clean, and safe.
the refrigrator didnt work, the safe was not working too..the ac was bad.
Very close to the Tube, Hyde park, nice neighbourhood, kettle, microwave in the room, good bathroom, air cond
The view from the room - not on the street, but inside the brick well!!!
I did not like anything. I had a miserable time. The room was unbelieveably small and cramped and noisy and I couldn't get any sleep. I paid more for this room than any other and it was a huge disappointment.
This was the smallest room I have ever seen for the biggest price. I wanted to cry it was so cramped. I didn't get any sleep as people kept coming and going all night and slamming doors next to mine. This property is right next to a youth hostel. Do not stay here. At 5:20 am people next door were hanging out their window smoking and partying. I had to close my window because of the smoke but the noise continued. I spoke to them but it didn't help. I was thorougly miserable and couldn't wait to leave.
It was very spacious and a very simple decor.
It's very close to underground station and very close to Malaysian Hall. The price was good.Really like hotel area (Bayswater).I Will stay here again when I coming to london.Cheers
Location close to tube. Free internet
Air-conditioning not working, non functioning alarm clock and hairdryer. Lack of interest of hotel staff.
The staff was very kind, but in the first night they put us in a room below street level and although the window had a double glass, it was really noisy... Ont he morning after we asked to change room and they didn't make us any problems and the other room was on the 4th floor, so it was ok. On the other hand, the second room had some problem with the electricilty plug in the kitchnette so the microwave and stove were not working. They managed to fix it by moving the microwave to a point where there was another plug, but then it was not possible to use the stove (for us it was not a problem because we didn't want to cook, just heat some food). Also, in both rooms the hair dryer (fixed to the wall) was not working. Again, we said it to the staff and they lend us a portable dryer, so they were very helpfull in all things. Let's say that these details did not ruin our weekend, but let's say that the facilities, although new and clean were not working at 100%. The location, on the other hand, is fantastic!
Location to the centre and good atmospere
The location was very nice, there are local shops just round the corner.
Well the hotel staff are very rude. The room themselves are small, it feels like your bedroom at home. Also there very quick to double charge you on your arrival.
Well located to underground station
Very noisy, hotel, lift not working, and very expensive to park £40 for 14 hours ( public car park as the hotel does not offer parking) Wall thin so could hear the honeymoon couple next door not good.
We liked London a lot.
The hotel has terrible rooms. The first one we got was in the basement. Than after we asked for a change they gave us a tiny room (number s10) depressing and the air was heavy. The noise in this room was unbearable we couldn't sleep and the bed was horrible. Than they moved us to another neglected room in the third floor with no heating, moss smell and after one day the hot water stopped. We travel al lot we know how a hotel in this price should be. Do yourselves a favour and take another hotel!!!
